Like and Unlike Decimal Numbers

Like Decimals are those decimals numbers that have equal number of digits after the decimal point.
Example:

The decimal numbers 123.25 and 125.65 are like decimals numbers because they have equal number of digits after the decimal point.

Unlike Decimals are those decimals numbers that have different number of digits after the decimal point.
Example:
The decimal numbers 25.236 and 25.3 are unlike decimals.
The numbers 5.3 and 5.300 are unlike because they have unequal numbers of digits are the decimal point.

Conversion of  unlike decimal to like decimals: Unlike decimals can be converted into like decimals by adding zeros after the right most digit in one of the decimal numbers.

Example:
The number 25.236 and 25.3 are unlike but if we add 2 zeros after three in the number 25.3 we will get 25.300.
Now both the number 25.236 and 25.300 have equal digits after the decimal point and hence they are like decimals.
