How to add fractions

If the fraction is a like fraction then just add the numerator and keep the same denimonator.

Example : if we have to add 

⅜ + ⅝

then simply add the numerator i.e. 3  + 5 = 8 and keep the same the same denominator. There the resultant fraction will be 8/8 or 1

Otherwise if the fractions are unlike i.e. they have different denominators then take the LCM of the Denominators and then add them.
